GI: KN Typhoon 2 - **SOLD**

I am planning of going back to stock intake and was wondering if anyone wants my used typhoon 2 short ram intake system. I have cleaned and recharged it regularly and works fine. If anyone wants it, I will take umount it from my car and recharge and ship it. Let me know.

i have a question for you,
why are you going back to stock?
like, did you have any issues with it?
im going to install mine soon, so i would just like you input on it, since it isn't one of the suggested intakes on the forum.

I have had no issues with it so far. Just feel like I need a change. I am looking for something different. If someone buys this I will use that money towards a new one, probably a CAI this time.

i have a question, i bought my K&N Typhoon on here too, and mine did not come with that rubber "adapter" thing at the end. is it possible to still connect it with out it?
i asked the guy i bought it from and he says that he just connected it the stock parts.

Thanks for the free bump dude. As far as I can remember, that rubber adapter comes with the K&N. I am not sure how to attach it using OEM part

http://www.knfilters.com/instruction...030-1_inst.pdf

Those are the instructions to install and the rubber clamp is part "P" in the drawing. You need to ask the guy you bought the filter from to provide that.

I like the sound of K&N. Its only loud during acceleration when you have throttle open wider. But when you set it to cruise control about 60mph, you barely notice it and on highway speeds 75mph cruise control, it is noticeable slightly but I wouldn't call it loud. Basically, wider the throttle is open and the more air going through the louder it gets. This is one of the loudest intakes out there though. I like the sound which is why I bought it.

An intake isnt loud but you will definetly notice the noise, i personally like the sound of an intake but thats my opinion.
