Ok so i just bought the Hypertech and received it last night but when i tried to install it, it said that it can not read my VIN. I call customer service for Hypertech, which were really nice and helpfull, after answering some question we figured out that my 2004 Mazda Rx-8 vin number said it was made in "03" so the hypertech could not read it because in was made for 04-08. So i have up forsale NEW/5 min used Hypertech.

Sorry your right. When you plug it in it says made for 2004-2010 Mazdas, but it only works for 2004- 2008 Rx-8. it is the same part#62003 so i guess it works on other mazdas thanks for pointing that out

WTF? dude you car has a build date of 2003 its still a 2004 car tho, and there is no difference in build date 03 vs build date 04-08 ecu's... you got a bad unit and should demand a new one or your money back....
