Ignition system

Category: Engine - Electrical
Price: $200
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Series II
Item Condition: Used

I still have my custom yukon coil ignition system for sale. my car was totaled and i ripped these out before the insurance man took the car away.

perfect condition. has less than 3,000 miles on them. car was never driven in snow and i live close to work so miles were low.

Yukon coils (4)
RaceRoots ignitions harness (1)
custom made bracket made by me. mounts directly to factory coil bracket no fabrication other than drill 2 holes. thats it.

you will need plug wires as your stockers will no longer fit the new coils.

pics.....
this is kinda blurry but my dog's nose got in the frame and the camera autofocused on her.

installed in the car...

again....

and again on my table...

these are in perfect condition and were only on the car from september to april and with no winter driving, plus the 8 was my second vehicle.

new plug wires can be purchased from BHR or RaceRoots

I think the wires were about $100 the stock wires don't fit because the connection is a different shape on the coil end.
These are the same coils that BHR uses when they make their kit. The difference is I made the bracket my self and used a different wiring harness that Raceroots sells that is included.

I'll take more pics today when I get off work.

The stock coils are a known weak point that seems to fail and need replacing about every 30,000 miles. These should last well over 100,000 and are the GM ls2 coils.

so the 2 holes are because of your custom bracket? if we/i were to change the brackets the 2 holes need not be made, corract? where exactly are the holes needed?
