EDIT: EXHAUST IS GOING IN FOR REPAIR THIS COMING WEEK. I WILL FURTHER UPDATE THIS THREAD WHEN THE EXHAUST IS COMPLETE!
What: This is the JIC Full-Titanium exhaust weighing in at around 17lbs (if my memory serves me right). The piping is a full 80mm exiting through twin ti-burned 4" tips (or very close to 4 inches).
The MSRP on this exhaust, is $2,307 ( http://www.jic-magic.com/ViewProduct...26&CarMakeID=5 ) and the cheapest I can find it for online is $1700 + taxes/shipping ( http://yhst-99473668323774.stores.ya...mabuspdet.html ).
Why: I am going another route (think single exit, but not HKS
) and would like to pass this on to another forum member.
Description: This exhaust has absolutely no dents, dings, or major imperfections; there is no rust, and no visible corrosion. There are 2 issues with the exhaust that may be dealt with, however I cannot see either affect the performance in any way![Biggthumpup](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/biggthumpup.gif)
1) This specific exhaust is known to develop a hairline fracture in the weld connecting the pipe to the canister (pictures below for clarification). Sure enough, my exhaust has also developed such a fracture. This exhaust is designed with an inner and outer chamber throughout the piping, the inner piping is absolutely fine with no cracking or warping of any sort. Because only the exterior weld has a minor hairline fracture, the ti welding should cost around $100-$125 (if this were a more simple metal, the weld could be repaired for considerably less). JIC has been known to repair this defect for free but in continuous conversing with them, it may not be happening this time. The crack is on the top and bottom portions of the weld, however does not go entirely around (see pictures).
2) When I was uninstalling the exhaust off of my car one of the bolts connecting the tip to the canister became very free and will no longer tighten or loosen. I really can't see this being much of an issue given the use of a gasket + hangers + the other bolt holding the tip on tight.
I wanted to make everything 100% clear to the (potential) future owner. If I do not get what I deem a fair price I will most likely get the issues taken care of and either continue using it or list it up here again. The exhaust is off the car and available this coming Friday night for pickup.
I will ship at the buyer's expense and accept paypal+fee or money order. I would prefer a local California sale, primarily for ease of transaction, so locals have priority.

Aforementioned loose bolt that will neither tighten, nor loosen any more, for a visual perspective (the closer bolt):

I have a couple shots that allow you to see the exhaust on my car, none are really showcasing the catback though.
I am asking $650 OBO for this. I figure spending another $100-150 on the weld and you've got a perfect condition JIC full ti catback for less than half the selling price, when new. I guarantee the item to be 100% as described and will take any other pictures you'd like. I am potentially open to rx8 related trades as well. Questions? Post up here or PM me, I'll make sure my PM box doesn't fill up 100%.
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE POSTING! Thanks

Taken directly from the JIC-Magic website I linked to:
Spartan DE Ti (Titanium) features a full ultra lightweight titanium oval canister and a full ultra lightweight titanium piping. Each Spartan DE comes with a full 80mm piping and a high quality Titanium to keep the exhaust noise to a minimum. Each Spartan DE Ti piping features a 1mm thick exhaust piping wall to allow heat to disapate faster. To enhance that important exhaust tone, the oval canister aids in keeping the exhaust tone clean. Each Spartan DE Ti system features a ultra lightweight Titanium canister with either a single or dual exhaust tip (some applications may be a special order item). Ideal for the enthusiast that wants an exhaust with a low profile, yet craves for throttle response, a clean exhaust tone, true weight savings and performance found in no other exhaust system.
