I have an OEM Mazda iPod Adapter for sale; I bought it used about a year ago for the 8, but really haven't used it more than once or twice, so I removed it the last time I had to take the console apart. Asking $80 shipped to the lower 48, via Paypal; Feel free to post or PM any questions.

Definitely interested and have a few questions. How much are you asking for it now? Also I own an 04 and I believe thats what you own? Does it work with all software types for the stock radio or is it specific. Also whether it works for for any iphone or certain ones? If it works for what I need i'll send paypal payment your way tomorrow.

 

Do you have an updated head unit? What Firmware are you running? I am interested with paypal ready to go. What exactly type of adapter is it? And will it work with an iphone 4?

Basically, it works to play music via the TAPE/MD option on the radio but does not charge it, and you can't control the song selection from the iPod Touch itself. Also, my car is an early build 04 and the head unit hasn't been touched. So, it doesn't have the updated firmware, and that may play a part but I never looked into it as I don't use it.

Wait... I am not sure if you know, but I'll ask, There is no AUX option on my radio.. I have FM 1/2 , AM, CD, TAPE/MD will it still work? I'll still buy though, even if it doesn't work ILl just resell it, but I do want it.

 

That's totally my bad. The TAPE/MD option is the button that makes use of the iPod Adapter on my radio as well. I was thinking of AUX input, since the adapter plugs into an auxiliary input on the back of the head unit.
