My LCD screen appears fine, the controller unit appears to be broken. Pressing the power/tilt buttons does nothing.

Have gone through the motions or checking all connections/capacitors/grounds/etc and cannot find anything wrong with the setup so I'm willing to try swapping in a new controller with the assumption it is dead.
