actually, that implies that he doesn't have a picture/access to a camera so he can get a picture.

Just picked up a rear fog light along with the puddle lights.
Local so no shipping/waiting.
Wanted $140 but gave him $150. How many places/times do you get more than your asking price?

Will be so busy in the next month but hope to install them as soon as possible.
Guess its time to go look at the DIY section.
Lucky me!

Edit on 11-14-07
Yes, I already bought them but not from SMRX8.
I bought from another forum member, ie RoTrDoc

He||hammer asks>>> If its OEM how does one go about wiring it ?

LOL yeah cause i know theres a switch connected to foglights switch so i wasnt sure on the wiring

I ask>> Is each different rear fog light connected differently or basically the connected way. I can understand if they have different lights, ie parking, fog, brake.
This one has 4 lights. 1 in the middle and 3 on each triangle point.

http://rx8strakes.com/index.asp?Page...PROD&ProdID=30

Here is link on how to connect Derwankels rear fog light
http://www.rx8fun.com/fog/docs/Rear_Rotary_Lamp.pdf
Gotten from here: http://www.rx8web.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5339

I wanted the one from RX8Strakes.com that :The corners light up with your tailights at night emphasizing the rotary shape, while a center circle of LEDs light up with your brake lights (day and night)!

+++++++++++++++++++++
Got it!! Use a dual filiment bulb.

So one is for when brake is depressed,
the other is for parking lights. So on when parking lights are on.

Notice Not really ON when fog lights are on So not really a fog light but used as such.

I have the RX8strakes stealth light and like it.

fog light

I bought the OEM fog light from Japan through Mazdaparts, and it comes with about 20 feet of cables and random switches and connectors and all kinds of stuff for the install to give you a switch that replaces the stock DSC on/off switch with one that has two buttons, one for dsc and one for the rear fog light. There are tons of random connections and tons of wires and tons of instructions in Japanese.

So I went to my Mazda dealership ordered a 3 wire brake/running light socket for the RX-8 brake light housing and slightly modified it to fit in the OEM fog light and then bought a LED bulb from autolumination and ran some wires up to the brake and running light wires and it all works perfectly and that LED looks sweet back there, I will try to get some pics up here soon.

Yeah definitely man. I only used the main housing for the light nothing more. Still have that nice looking switch sitting around. I don't need that thing, and it is not worth any money. I will try to take a pic of all the acessories and extra stuff that it came with. I stripped some of the wires for some good stuff but I think there might be something you might need. PM me with your address and I will try and ship it out when I get back from LA this weekend.
