All you have to do is plug and play into your current RX-8. Now how cost-effective and effort-less is that?

Hi there, I hope you (and others) are taking into account that I am selling 4 items of which the motorised dashboard is a GEM (since Mazda have stopped manufactured it) with an already integrated transflective screen. The time and effort I have given to get my car pc running esp the removal and integration of the current screen justified for the price I am offering.

Also, it doesn't even look like you mounted the screen in there correct, so you have to take in account of fixing it also.

Ohs perhaps you did not take into account that I use a mousepad to control the mouse. I have taken into account the fact that the screen is too small for big fingered person like me to touch the screen effectively and that's why I mounted my mouse pad near the gear shift for easy control. Trust me, it better to place your finger to control from the below than to lift your finger all the way up to screen to control. Here's the link.

What do you mean the screen is not mounted correctly? I took out the original OEM GPS screen and replaced it with the current screen. There's nothing wrong with the angle or placement of the screen as I took careful measurement of the original screen to find an exact measurement of the current screen. From there, it's just simple replacement.
Perhaps I took the photo from the driver side and you couldnt see it properly.

I can understand your imagination because perhaps you never own a motorised dashboard before It's just my resized photo that I uploaded. Let me see if I can find another camera or something.
You can check out from the rest of the other owners who own a motorised dashboard whether you can fit another housing inside the motorised housing. Maybe you can try and let us know. But I know it's insane to even do that.
I assured you and the rest who are interested, that my motorised dashboard is the real deal and using a mouse pad to control the pc is soooooo much easier than using a small 7" touchscreen

Ha ha, that's impossible! This motorised dashboard housing do not allow another housing inside. Putting 2 housing together just could not fit!

Actually I have a RII wireless keyboard/trackpad. I also have a touchscreen monitor INSIDE my OEM navigation hood, and it looks OEM. Not like this. I'm not trying to diss you at all, but rather trying to help you sell it for the right price. Check this out.

That's how my motorised dashboard opens up .

Like what you mentioned, $500 is a fair price for all the items combined. Happy holidays

As mentioned in my ad, this space is selling all the items. Not individual ones.
Tell you what - since you are so confident of selling the screen separately. I will let you sell the entire package in this space.
You can transfer the payment over and I will ship all the items to you and you can continue to use this space to sell off the other items.

Well there's a whole slew of people interested in just the nav housing (As most of us are already running the screen in a metra kit). So when you're ready to part with one piece, let us know.
In the meantime, you might want to post the screen on mp3car.com's forums.

As explained, this price is for the whole package. I am not really in a hurry to sell off the Nav Housing as it is no longer an optional item for the FL model. I also do not want to go through the trouble of splitting up any of the items in the package.
If you are really keen on just the Nav Housing, you are most welcome to buy the whole package and do what you want with the rest of the other items.
Thankx for viewing.

Fair enough. I'm not interested in the screen at all, so I'll make you an offer for 350 shipped for the whole thing. if you do decide to cut your losses, I'll gladly take it up.
My main issue with the screen is that it's not a touch screen. Right now you can buy a touchscreen for around 190, which aleviates the need for a mouse/keyboard.

I'm not here to cut losses or engage in a bargaining type of selling. This price is for the entire package. I will take nothing less than the amount stated. As mentioned, I am not in any hurry to sell the NAV Housing. And the fact is that this is a classic piece of engineering mount specially for RX-8 that Mazda is no longer manufacturing.
What you wish to do with the screen or the rest of my other items is entirely up to you. I have already mentioned that a touch screen of this size is not really suitable especially for big fingered person like me. That's why I mounted the touchpad besides the gear for easy access. Plus the traffic police in my country would never catch me dead on distracted pointing at the middle of the car on my screen.
Just a food for thought when you do eventually buy my whole package deal.
Thankx for viewing.

Doubt you can find any more "limited edition" Nav Housing. Most RX-8 owners dont opted for this option when they first buy their ride. Very few are still in use. The rest are already scraped. Rarely does one such as mine comes up for sale. Look me up when you want to buy the whole package. Only a genuine buyer would see the true value and will not even attempt to bargain.
