TN RE-Amemiya Super Dolphin Tail catback

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price: $1000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Series I, Series II
Location (US State/Canada/Int): TN
Item Condition: Used

I am selling my RX-8, and returning it to stock. This is the big ticket item for sale.

RE-Amemiya Super Dolphin Tail catback exhaust.

This thing sounds fantastic. So smooth and buttery. It is in great condition, will need to be hit with some polish to bring back the beautiful luster. Not many miles on it. It is a 2 pieces system, the muffler section and the pipe leading to the rear catalytic converter. This system does have the ground strap tab on the muffler as well (I know some don't).

I can try to get a video and some better pics. I had some before I installed it, but have somehow lost them. It is currently installed, but can be removed in a matter of minutes.

I will ship to any of the lower 48 states for $100, anywhere else it will be up to you to get a quote. Located in Murfreesboro, TN (just outside Nashville).

Price is $1000 OBO, no low ballers. If you want to buy this system brand new, expect to shell out $2100 before taxes, shipping and customs fees

I am not interested in trades of any kind.

This is a rare item here in the US.

For reference, go to the RE site and check out the pics.

Thank you!!

DJ

Do it!! Lol.

Seriously, I love it. But if the 8 is getting sold, I would rather the catback go to someone here.

Are you looking for a trade back to stock or do you still have your OEM exhaust?

Yeah, sorry. I was wondering wrt having to lug my stock one down there, not thinking about any money credit. Still, would like to see recent pics of it removed from the car.

Here is a shitty video. My garage is for some reason amplifying the sound of the engine, and not so much the exhaust. But if you crank it, it you can hear it. Maybe I'll hang the camera off the trunk and go for a drive this weekend.

Good lord youtube sucks. It was working fine yesterday when I uploaded it. It won't even let me edit it. I will try later.

Otherwise I'll just make another video.

Hell it probably will be.

As far as what? Sound? Power?

It sounds much better than anything I've ever heard unless you like to be overly raspy. Power is pretty much all the same for a catback on an RX-8.
