WA RX8Performance Motor Mounts (( SOLD ))

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $100
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Others, Series I, Series II
Location (US State/Canada/Int): WA
Item Condition: Used

Rx-8 Poly Mounts. These are from Rx8Performance. These are the heavy version. Made of steel so your ***** shake.

20k miles of heart pounding action on these.

CAUTION. You may regret these. They are totally dirty, rusted, flattened, and basically rekt due to BURNING the roads of WA State. The tickets these gaddamn things got me were 10 times as much as I payed for the car.

They groaned with every 10k 3rd gear clutch dump.

They screamed around the corners at Pacific RaceWay.

YOU CAN OWN THEM!!

For a limited time, YOU the LUCKY PERSON will have a chance to own these AMAZING motor mounts!!!

Seriously; Get some bigger washers that go around the whole top of the red busing. It will keep them from deforming. They will settle and loosen after time so get some washers to put under the nyloc nut and cinch the nut down hard the first time. The nut bottoms out on the collar of the bolt so you know its locked. Just make sure you pretension it hard before you mount to the frame. Use the washers between the nyloc nut to pretension, but use them equally. EXAMPLE - 3 washers this side equals that side (i never did this and they loossened and pissed me off). These come with an extra through bolt and nyloc of different size. For cars with the skinny main mount. Mounts were on a S1 Shinka, but "MAY" fit an S2. The onus is on you to decide.

Whatever.

^^ haha, great ad
FWIW, I moved the big washers from the bottom to the top, and vis-versa. Sha-bang. perfect. Great engine mounts.

Yeah they were good when they were brand new. I just didnt want to deal with maintenance. I filled a stock mounts with 80a and they are about the same. Shifts were A+. Not too much vibration with these either when installed correctly. Good mounts.

Great idea .... I installed a big fat galv. washer from a building depot on top but your idea would have saved me much cursing .

You just under-tightened them the first time. If you crank them down until it bottoms the bolt sleeve they won't come loose no matter where the washer is placed.

No I installed them correctly. They settled and loosened. Known issue, which is why I supplied the known fix, which was found on this website. Cheers for the post though.

Sorry, never had any issue on mine coming loose with the washers positioned as per the manufacturer.

I suppose you think you're quite the salesman too

Yeah like I said I ******* beat on em. They're great, just want them to go to someone who will appreciate how hyper-amazing they are.
