As the title states, I have an AP dual resonated midpipe that I don't have a use for anymore. It has about 7,000 miles on it. No scratches or dents, typical coloring for stainless steel exposed to high heat (blue/purple/gold)

The only flaw with it is the weld for the exhaust hanger has a 1/2" long crack in it. I can have it fixed if the buyer so desires. If not it shouldn't pose a problem.


I would prefer a local sale and am willing to drive up to an hour to deliver it, but I would be wiilling to ship at the buyers expense.

Actually talked to Brian about it today. Brian pended the sale until he could get a welder to fix the crack because he couldn't in good conscious sell the pipe the way it was. The crack in question was exactly where the weld for the hanger was. So the assumption is/was that the original weld from AP damaged the area and over time the heat of the engine plus the stress put on the pipe caused it to fail. It is a small crack about a half inch or so in length that you can only see by looking down the inside of the pipe.

 

Brian I will take the mid pipe as is. You do not need to get it fixed, I will do so on my own. I live in MD shipping should not be too expensive.

Yes, sale is pending. It is currently at a friends shop getting the weld fixed as after further closer inspection of the weld I could not in good concience sell the pipe without it being fixed. If by some chance the sale falls through I will be contacting those in order of which they asked for the pipe after the original person requested to purchase it.
