CA W/B Full Set Of Black 8 Emblems

I really want to buy a nice set of black of emblems (front and rear "M", Mazda, and Rx-8).

Just pm or reply here if you have a set you are willing to let go of.

I would even give you my chrome emblems and $ as an exchange if you would like to do it that way. Its up to you.

Just paint them yourslelf. Thhat's what I did and it came out looking pro. Just use the color you like and then put clear coat over it, but make sure to take them off your car when you paint them haha.

Painting them yourself is the easiest and probably cheapest way to go.

Okay and do you guys also recommend roughing up the emblems with 80 grit sand paper to help the paint set on them and stay better? I searched other threads and i saw that a few people recommend that but no one says whether or not thats a good idea.

And thank you pup for letting me know the amount of layers paint u used. No one was really specific on how many layers would be good for applying to them.

hahahahaha bwalla im the saaaame way, but i jsut got my 8 a week ago but im really worried about ruining the emblems.

On another thread people were saying to use 80 grit sand paper to rough them up a little bit just to help the black set better on them.

Then, if you ruin them. . . that is when you should buy some emblems.

RotaryFX has replacement Emblems if you do happen to ruin them, and they are not too expensive.

I didn't even sand mine at all and the paint went on flawlessly. I did about 3 coats of black to get it good and covered and like 2 coats of clear. My suggestion is not to sand them.
