I am looking to buy carbon fiber front and rear doors for my 05 RX-8. Seibon is preferred and if you have all 4 that would be great. Need them ASAP!! Looking for pretty much new condition and will pay for shipping.

 

Never seen a single post where someone has these. The consensus was that they aren't very safe for a road car. Maybe you will get super lucky though

The company I was going to order them from said they will take about a month. I was in an accident this past weekend and I'm going to be doing carbon fiber just about everything but the doors are junk so I need them taken care of first.

 

how about silver OEM doors???? (passenger front and rear)

 

You do know that cf doors without a cage is really dangerous...

 

Why? I mean, the rear doors are aluminum already, I'm not sure if the fronts are a combination of steel and aluminum... Nevertheless, the stock RX-8 doors are very light already!

 

You are missing the part where the doors dont have the crash bar or whatever on the inside and that carbon fiber does not react like steel or aluminum in a crash.

 

Yeah, that's what I meant with having the steel with the front doors.

 

Will be looking at cages as well.

 

Mazdatrix is the cheepest ive seen so far but i may be leaving towards seibon. Id love to find someone who has them though. Save myself a couple bucks.
