Like this:
I really want the stealth version of this from RX8Strakes, but they discontinued it. Anyone looking to unload it, you have an interested buyer.

Alright.....I shouldn't do this because I have one(the Stealth) and want to remain kinda unique, but go to the following two threads. There has been a lot of discussion about it and RX8Strakes is thinking of bringing it back.
If enough people show interest............Heather and Dave may just bring it back. Post in each thread and we will see what happens.
The waiting list if I decide to ever do away with mine is three deep and I have never even offored it for sale!
Oh......................and there are some DIY's about making your own. A couple of which didn't look too bad, but the one from RX8Strakes is really nice, fits perfect, and is really easy to install.
AND.....................definetely go with the Stealth version!

heather from rx8strakes has posted that they will be brining back a new version of this light in a few weeks.

Hi!
We kept the light on our web site as a way to gauge consumer interest. While we loved the product, we unfortunately had to discontinue it because of the expense to produce and difficulty with our supplier. However, all of the emails and message board comments spurred us into action to expedite the development of a new solution.
We've been working on a new offering and plan to make it available in the next few weeks.

it's pretty much just like the Mazda kit, which isn't quite the same as you posted above so I'm not sure if this is what you really want
https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...tid=5981&stc=1
it comes with the full sealed housing, sealing bulb housing plug with integral wiring, clamp-on wiring adaptors to tap into the license plate wiring for power, and a standard bulb
You have to cut a hole in the center of the rotary tri-oval of the rear bumper valance using a hole-saw (not supplied in the kit, I can include it though). The instructions include a cut-out pattern for centering the drill point. Also included are a press-on ring for snugly securing the housing in the bumper valance and a tube of super glue for securing the ring to the housing if you want to make it a permanent installation
it's just a standard rear fog light setup, it simply is either on/off with the parking/headlights if you tap it directly to the license plate light wiring, you could wire it to be on an on/off switch if you want to go to all the trouble of doing so
the other one that I installed in my bumper valence is a perfect fit
