Hey while that might be the only Rolex race in Canada... the Koni Challenge is going to be at Trois Rivieres in Quebec the weekend of August 17-19! You should try making it to that one as well.

i will be at sebring, st pete and homestead...

i will say the homestead deal is going to be great, sports cars on a road course durning the day, indy cars on an oval at night...

and if alex can do close to what he did last year, it will be great..

I'll hopefully be at Seabring again with Roar. I'll post a chronicle of those events as well. I know I'll be at Barber and VIR later in the year.

There are two different series, Koni Challange and Rolex. I'm going with Koni Challenge.

No, because of all the problems last year with overcrowding tracks, the vast majority of the Koni races will be split... GS and ST will have separate races.

This is a good thing - I can vividly remember a certain race last year that only had 13 laps under green... and all but one or two yellows being due to the GS cars.

Watkins Glen (July 6-7) and Miller (Sep 12-15) are the only combined races this season.

The Daytona race was 3 hours and had 8 full course yellows. Can't do a lot of good racing when you're constantly under yellow.

Grand Am does not compete at Sebring, you might be thinking about Homestead.

It would be nice to see Mazda contribute more support. I don't know the details of what they currently provide in terms of engineering and financing but it sounds like GM and Porsche out do Mazda by far. Another reason why SS (and the other rotary teams) impress me with their relatively low budget operations.

Usually if I get to hear screaming rotaries in the morning I don't need coffee. Nothin' like a little adrenaline to get you going.

Indeed, it was fun. I'll be at Laguna X2 and Infineon this year. Hoping SS et al will be at both. A meet up would be great!!!

Thanks for the paddock idling vid lego. I can't wait for May.

I might be able to help you out with hosting some video, send me a PM if you are interested, and we will see if we can work something out.
