yah man! finally a win for them, a year and probably more of development. Next is homestead their home course, i cant wait!!!!!!!!!!! oh its only 3weeks away too!

did anyone notice the interview with Leh Keen, the 2nd placed porsches? he didnt seem very happy with how quick the mazda is in both the interview he was in. the little mazda that zoom zoom.

The Speed Channel coverage on this race was MUCH better than the Daytona weekend. The GT cars were covered fairly well and we shined. The on board footage with the #70 (and announcer relishing the sound of the screaming rotary) was awesome.
When they interviewed Nick Ham, I got the sense that he had had a blast at the wheel. He knew he was hooked up.
Overall, great coverage for the 8 and the rotary.

Nice contrast that I recall, wording may not be 100% correct:
In the interview with Ham, regarding the first lap, he said he knew the Porsches were going to push through the Esses and cook their tires. "I knew they would come back to me, and they did."
Later in the interview with Keen, he said almost the same thing about the 8 losing him through the Esses and he expected the 8 to start losing its tires. " . . . then he just kept on going."
