So I decided that I would not plan on running any autocrosses this year, and see what type of track stuff I could get into. I have recently hooked up with AMS motorsports out of Chicago, and have driven a few time attack events for them. I will miss being at nationals, but I feel that I needed to make myself available should any opportunities come along.

RX-8 driver in Texas. Dang, that would really sting...

That must be one of those Texas words, huh?

debated long and hard about BS vs STU and I'll probably run STU because the car seems to be coming around now. From this past weekend; 7000 ft elevation, bumpy/slippery asphalt, 51 sec road-type course with 5 turns that required going down to 1st and then back to 2nd so it seems like a good choice for this year's Nats site change

DKNV would have won the Ladies PAX this day too, but she needlessly coned it away right at the finish (again)

The RX-8 is lighter and can use wider tires. That's a pretty powerful combination.
Of course, if STU runs first heat in Topeka, the rally cars are going to have a significant advantage over the M3 and RX-8, particularly on Tuesday. It's too bad that STU was one of the few classes that didn't rotate between Tue/Wed and Thu/Fri this year.

The quickest guy locally runs the evo 8 on the stock tires. He seems to like them best for that car.
Yeah it's too bad we probably won't have much rubber down on the course unless we run a later heat.

(Besides what's already posted on scca.com) Does anyone get the inside scoop early, on run group schedules?
