It was a private Speedtrial event. No lap timers...which seems strange given that it was a "Speedtrial" event? I went with Ghost, and co-drove his car. He is friends with one of the guys putting on the event. Only 30 cars....so there was plenty of driving to be had. We got 94 miles on a full tank of gas....WOW, talk about bad gas mileage. I actually had fuel starvation going into the bowl....lost fuel and had to coast till the pickup was able to get fuel. It's amazing to see how fast that last 1/4 tank goes, when your only getting 7 mpg.
Clockwise, normal direction.

ok, clutch grind update....
Didn't want to post anything last night, in the event that I may be premature in thinking the problem was resolved.
I changed the clutch/brake fluid to Motul Dot4....again, the system responded appropriately at first, but then problem returned after the car got warm.
I pulled the Amsoil out of the Trans, and replaced it with Royal Purple (the fluid that was in the trans prior to the clutch install).....Problem GONE.
So, question....was the Amsoil just too thin? It works fine in Speed's car....but then again, he didn't replace his clutch yet.....
Cesar has the same clutch/flywheel setup I have...he has never had problems, but has never run Amsoil. He initially was running Royal Purple, and is now running Redline.
Please Discuss.

Speed, depending on the discussion that is about to occur, we may want to post something in your AMsoil thread....we may also want to let your distributor know.

Keith, I dont think you are going to get much of a responce. I have never really heard of anyone talk trash about Amsoil. as we talked about over the phone, there is something strange going on.
your car drives fine right after a clutch bleeding....... why? we know it had nothing to do with the tempature of the oil because I had asked you if it was fine in the morning when the fluid would be cold and you said no, it still had the problem first thing in the morning..... weird.
the Amsoil works fine in my car...... again strange.
I am not the only one on this thread using Amsoil. no one else complains....... strange.
I dont get it. :/

^^^^ thats also what we were talking about on the phone. :/
also if for some reason we didnt get your trans full..... but I would think it would have to be severly low to get that kind of problem. I KNOW we had to have been pretty damn close to full if not full..... it's not a hard task.

March is going to be a busy month, the 4th, the 11th, the prosolo, and the 31st. When is the prosolo again? I registered, but haven't looked at the paperwork yet.
