As far as the one course "Pro" format, I guess what we're really talking about is a regular autocross with a reaction time thrown in...sounds kind of fun, but nowhere near as cool as running side by side, which is the whole allure of Pro, as far as I'm concernec.

The PB&J in your motor home was the best meal and accommodations we had both weekends.
To make things even worse the word is many of the cabins that were available for rent were damaged/destroyed by some recent flooding.
Please SCCA move the tour back to Bremerton.
btw they just changed the the Packwood Pro to a dual format event, guess they figured no one would show for the single course.
Good news for you Wood...... With me not going you have a lock on 2nd behind Joe.

Good news on going back to the dual format, that'll make it easier to justify the 11 hour tow, from here.
I don't know about a "lock" on 2nd...there are a few others who might argue that point...on the other hand, Joe's beatable, also...

I was thinking it would be fun to try out the new site at the tour. Not sure I would drive that far for a single course pro.

I think Packwood should take the single, the site is to small for two good courses and its not like that event will fill up anyway.

I fought to keep it a Tour but no one would listen to me. On the positive side the Miller Motorsports Park facility is better than any Pro or Tour I have been to.
There are two pads that we race on. One is a fat rectangle and would have been perfect for a Tour. It is also the same surface as Topeka. The other is better suited for the single side Pro, the lot is long and a bit narrow, but I have never driven on asphalt that had grip like this. It is almost as grippy as Wendover, but perfectly smooth.
Long story short it will be worth the trip for the faciltiy alone. And I think the event will be on the long, narrow, grippy lot.
