or

Results are "sort of" up for the first set of runs.
Cones look to be a factor so far in many classes.
Talked to someone at the site. Just starting 2nd sets of runs at 3:15. Gonna be a late night.
I wonder if they split some runs to tomorrow morning?

I was going to say I'm bummed that I'm not down there, running the Mustang, but if they are having those type of operational (timing?) issues, maybe its just as well...

btw, this morning I ran (for my first time) at the new Alameda Point NAS site out here in the Bay Area...AWESOME. The surface is tremendous, smooth and grippy. We ran on the asphalt runway today, but considering its composition was to allow huge aircraft (transporters etc) to land and take off, it is beyond "race grade". There are also concrete and asphalt runways, taxiways, plane "parking lots" on site. Coupled with the view of the bay/SF skyline, it is an off the hook place to play. Hopefully, we'll get the ok to do National events next year

Actually, the original plan this year was to run a Pro at both El Toro and Alameda, but when the Alameda permits were delayed, it was moved to Wendover.

Back to the topic, I just got back from running two events today (yeah, its tough to have to autocross in the SF Bay Area ) and finally had a chance to see the final results from El Toro. Bryan got it done in his MR2T, putting another big hurt on what has to be seen as an "all star" BS field...he's not only a great driver, he also is ON FIRE

Props to my pal Alex Muresan in DS, getting by the very fast Kevin Dietz (another great guy).

Now, I just have to figure out where the RX8 content is in this post...

Bryan is on fire this year, does not matter what car you put in him, he is going fast. Even my dirty runs were not good enough to catch him.

But man, after the last two events there is no way I want to run CS next year.
