I saw Ivan and Neal were co-driving, are they both in the RX8?

^Let's hope so.
Fun course, but I couldn't find the speed my co-driver did - I'm about 1 second off Karl's time. Not bad, but not where I was hoping to be. I drove good lines and didn't make any major mistakes (unlike the Pro Finale where I just plain drove poorly), but I think I'm under-driving the grip level by a small margin. The 17" Hankooks on the concrete are at once grippier and less precise than the 18" Bridgestones were on asphalt, and I'm not adapting quickly enough.
KJ is right there with Karl, who was the quickest RX-8 pilot on day one, so props to KJ.
I hope to get back into the trophies tomorrow - I'm about .6 out.

Top three in CS are MX-5 Miatas with Bryan Heitkotter way out in front, 370Z in 4th and Ruggles the first RX-8 in 5th. Looks like Uuuuloser got some of my cone cooties on him

thanks Chike. We had a broken wire to one of the injectors so our first runs
on Wednesday were done on 3 cylinders. and i still had the fastest 1st run!
slow down to go fast... ;-)
my pit crew was able get the connection soldered together (took 2 tries) but
we had neglected watering down the tires so they were over heated for my
3rd run. oh well.
ps. i think i figured out why i never won BS. look at what the trophy winners
from last year are doing in their new classes this year. yikes!

BS (Ran 2nd heat Tues/Wed) - top West Course time by M. Pfannenschmidt 59.804
CS (Ran 5th heat Thurs/Fri) - top West Course time by B. Heitkotter 59.745
With this said, who knows how much faster the courses have gotten as the week progressed??? We're being nothing more than armchair quaterbacks here. Plus, in my book, I consider BryanH a much better solo driver than Marc P. (no offense).

It won't be me starting that thread. However, you do raise an interesting point which has some merit...

I agree with both your points, regarding course and driver...on the other hand, bumping the "MS-R" would be an easy out to address what is, imho, an SAC error...
But, no, I'm not suggesting that I'm in any way serious about the idea!
