24 hours of Lemons Palm Beach New Years Eve
Last minute preparations are being finished for the "THE PAINFULLY BLAND BOWL OF THIN LUKEWARM OATMEAL THAT CAN NOT POSSIBLY OFFEND ANYONE, NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY ENJOY BEING OFFENDED, 24-HOUR SEASON ENDER" Lemons race (formerly referred to as the 24 horas de Cuba de Norte) at Palm Beach International Raceway (formerly known as Moroso).
Maintenance to the brake system and minor changes to the brake bias, never ending repairs to the exhaust system, new tires and brake pads and we should be good to go. This may be live video streamed over the internet like South Carolina. If you have nothing to do New Year's Eve tune in as we bring the year in racing to a close.
Race starts at midnight on Wed/Thur and runs to midnight New Years Eve (Thur/Fri). I am going to be one tired ****:muahaha:

We finished 7th out of 74 cars in the 24 Horas de Cuba del Norte at PBIR! Discovery of a crack in the fuel cell before the race even started (fortunately fixed prior to race time), two team penalties, a loose MacPherson strut, recurring Richter 7 seismic events in the brakes, radio problems, a fender bender, and only 2 of 4 headlights still working lead to an eventfull 24 hour race. We fell back to 22nd place, but persistence, teamwork, and good driving brought us back to 7th by the end of the race. I'm whipped but feeling good.

Congrats! I've done a bunch of their westcoast races - thought about doing the season ender but just TOO far from CA.
Although how can I say that when my friend drove his Citroen POS all the way there from my town!
