waste of time, the shop cant seat the R888 265/35/18 on the stock OEM 8" wheels....

265/35-18's fit fine on 8" rims. They say (Falken) that 8.5" rim is the minimum width for that tire. But I don't see an issue with 1/4" less per side on the rim. I run 265/35-18's on 8" rims. They're fine.

I wonder if the tires will rub at full lock.

I ran 265s on 10.5" wheels lowered and no rubbing, also 295's on 8" wheels, what part about they fit don't you understand?

unless you're planning to run some whacked out wheel offset you won't have a problem
