Acosta racing RX8?

Umm, did they ever dyno that car? I know it had 800 horses at the wheels but never heard of how much torque it made. Also was it ever tested at the drag strip and what were the results?

They sold it off on EBAY. They won't be taking it anywhere anymore.

Did they ever get to do that 800 HP porsche vs. 800 HP RX8 in europe? Also why would they sell it without testing it? Grr.

When they sold it on EBAY (if it didn't fall through) they claimed it had easy miles only. That would imply it never competed against the 911. But then i remember somebody revealing the results of each of the five (i think) competing events, no times or #s, just which car won each event. (can't find that thread at the moment)

The original auction is here

thats strange it only went for 73K. in the mag, it said someone offered 120K for the car and acosta racing turned it down. i wish they would post again so things could become facts and not rumors.

The car was never sold on Ebay. The buyer never came. Sorry we haven't been posting on the forum. We have been busy finishing off our Pro Car for this season. I'm not goin to race the car. But i will take it to Englishtown Raceway, When they have the first Big Import Nationals. so that people can see the numbers.
