Anybody runs MSR?

That sounds like fun. I've turned a few laps there before in mine but not pushing it hard, mostly in the 1:40's.
I've turned laps in the Formula Mazda there in the 1:20's and my best laps were in the 125 shifter at 1:17.
At the end of the front straight coming up the hill stay wide to the left and brake late to set up for rattlesnake. The last left hander is pretty tight so you'll want to set up for that from the end of the straight. Little bend leads up a hill and it takes a late apex to carry the most speed. If you have less then half a tank of fuel the pump will starve through little bend. The exit to the back straight is very crucial for speed, but the "speed" line takes all the fun out of that turn. You'll see what I mean. Big bend has a bump that will upset the inside tires and give a little pucker factor as you begin to get it right.
As long as you're going to spend the big bucks on a track day I would recommend dropping by Motorsports Sales in Richardson and getting a tankful of TT105, and carry another 10-15 gallons to the track. You'll burn 6 gallons just getting to the track. Between the oxygenation and the higher energy content it will feel like it's had about 2-3 lbs of boost added, and there will be zero detonation on the extended WOT.

I know what lap times Shannon MacMasters is running. Shannon is telling me he is running faster then a Miata Spec., more alone the lines of a fast JP car.
So what lap times are other folks running in their RX-8's?
I am trying to figure if the car is worth getting to track with.
