Anyone used/reviewed Cobalt Friction CSR pads for AutoX?
Cobalt Friction apparantly replaced their GT Sport AutoX/HPDE pads with CSR (Club Sport R-Compound) pads.

I know a handful of people have used the GT Sports before (https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/overall-better-dual-purpose-street-track-brake-pad-other-than-oem-167015/#post2911384) but I haven't seen if there are any fundamental changes to the pad or any reviews specific to AutoX. Cobalt tends to be a little light in the publicizing department.
I use Cobalts on the track and love them but I think previous reviews I've read of the GT were just that they were adequate and not AutoX competition worthy. Maybe I'm off on that one.

Best/easiest thing to do is call them. I did that and got to talk to a engineer that was experienced with the pads as used on RX-8s (in racing). Perhaps they'll have auto-x knowledge as well. At the least you'll get the info on why the change was made to replace the GT Sports pad.
They didn't BS me, or try to sell me anything...just the facts as they knew them. Worth a shot
Remember to report back what happened too.
