The ASTRA Team in partnership with AUTOSPRINT launches and promotes for the 2005 edition of the ”MAZDA SPORT CUP" the seventh edition of the selection for potential pilots. The event is finalized to the involvement of the highest number of amateur pilots who want to race on track.

PARTICIPANTS: to participate to the selection you need to have a regular driver's license or a valid C.S.A.I License (or equivalent). The candidates must send a race-curriculum. The admission to the selections will be subordinated to the acceptance of a commission purposely constituted by Astra and Autosprint, whose task will be to verify that the candidate has never achieved victories of single races or championships, since the initiative is intended to reward and to stimulate pilots with no professional experience.


SELECTIONS: The selections, carried out on board Astras Mazda MX-5 Sport Cup edition, will have place in the dates and race track (north Italy) that will be communicated upon approval. All pilots that have participated to previous editions of the Mazda Sport Cup are excluded from this event.

PARTICIPATION FEE. The participation fee is fixed in 250,00 euros (+ vat), it must be sent (upon approval of participation) through postal check or bank transfer/check, as reimbursement for Astras expenses to the following address: ASTRA Srl - B.go San Martino, 20 - 12060 Macella i(CN). In case the profile of the pilot should not be acceptable the sum will be reimbursed apart from any banking expenses.


PRIZES. The winner of the selections will have the right to race one FREE season with the RX8 “Astra & Autosprint” car. Personal expenses, registration fees to the single races, free practice fees and the “Kasco” insurance will be payed by the pilot.
