Atwater Tour? Results/Impressions
So what happened out there for the Atwater Tour? Results,Impressions. It looks like the surface is very slick for the first heats? Or it was wet from the previous night? I was not there but ASP, SM2 times look like they suffered from something?
Wow, CP,SM and ESP were smokin'
Nice, RX 8's sitting on top of all the Trophies

Actually, I thought the conditions were pretty good during the 1st heat. It was cool, but the surface still had a ton of grip. The top SM2 time paxed in the top 10 overall, so it's not like they were slow. Course was very fast and wide, all about speed maintenance.
8 of the 9 B-stock entries were rx8's, so it wasn't too hard for it to get all the trophy spots.

CP was awesome to watch, and so was CSP.
Congrats to Joe and Anna Goeke for winning BS/BSL!

dknv is Debbie I assume. Nice to meet you this weekend. You need to move over to open class for the Pro to give us another trophy spot. We'll need it with all the fast ladies and TeamRX8 joining us.

Joe and Anna did great this weekend. Great battle in BSL, going to be a harder class than BS this year.
I was flat out lost all weekend, I could not find a line on that course at all. Sure hope the Pro is more than just a bunch of sweepers.
mp5 had the drive of his life on Sun. btw you are on your own now.

We can give ULLLOSE a little break this weekend since he was one of the Operating Stewards which requires time and attention away from racing.
As far as the pro course, I would not think there would be enough room for so many sweepers (even though I do like them). How about some true slalom action?

Guess I need to go do some track days to tune up for the Atwater tour next year.

Nice drive to all! I think I was looking at ASP times that I thought were off?
Sweepers and wide courses with speed would explain why CP with wide slicks and big power checked out...
Good luck to all at the Pro!
There seems to be a different camp of BS racers out this way that seem to think other Marque's are faster than the 8. Hmmm, should be fun to watch;-)

Only Joe is brave enough to show up.
MidPack Mike gave up on trying to develop an RX8, guess a set of Konis and V710s was to much for him.
Then PedalFaster, owner of the most expensive and oldest BS car, has to take it in to get the training wheels removed. If he does not start it all year he might be able to afford to run for six minutes in KS.
Bauer went for something with more TQ this year.

If my experiment in CS does not work out, WATCH OUT BS! HERE COMES FAST MIKE!
I actually need a challenge that is worthy before I will travel though.
BS is just SOOOOO soft right now.
LOL!
Mid pack Mike in the NWR ='s P1 while on the road.

Not sure what is going on in TX but they alread had a dead tour and the Pro is looking bad also.
I would say for he rest of the West coast stuff Packwood should be ok. I think Wendover will be a ghost town, end of the year and two other pros within a few weeks of it.
