uncompetitive? it was in 3er at sebring when the engine died, it is indurance racing, most of the times the winer its not the fastes but the one that has less problems.
for those of us that has follow the car since the beggining the car has made some really good proggres, from being as fast as a gt2 car to being faster than a gt1, let us hope that with the new tires and larger restrictor the car gets a little faster and more relaible.

the thing is with $$$$$$ you can beat anything and $$$$ is what the bk doest have in large amounts to compete with porche and audi, just with a purpouse built chassis that allows the variable leght intake system the car can be a lot faster, plus better cooling to get the hot exhaust air out, remember this chassis is built with piston engines in mint not rotary's.

Considering how under-funded they are and the overweight crap chassis they're using, they're sticking in there. Look for them to pick up steam later in the season when they're rumored to be taking delivery of a new lola chassis. Also, mazdaspeed has taken over as primary sponsor and mazda is campaigning to let a 4 rotor be used.
I think this year is still going to be a learning year for the B-K boys, but if things go thier way, they could be a threat in '07.
