I think the RX-8 will do very well in BS. I don't think it will have a chance in BSP, nationally.

If you need some BS or BSP competition come down and do a WDCR-SCCA event. Plenty of competition here...

LOL. We get about 20 cars just in B Stock IIRC.

Some idiot won the season in an M3. Hopefully that guy came to his senses and found a real sports car to drive.

Yeah, and for his sake, he better hope the owner of that car doesn't do something silly like move to New England or sell the car to get something like a Mustang. That would really suck for that guy, wouldn't it?

We typically get ~240 drivers at each of the local SCCA events. For 2005, they made 200 season subscriptions available (requires prepayment for the entire season and no refunds after a drop dead date in February) and all of the slots filled in less than two weeks.

Wait, are we talking about the guy who bought the Mustang?

That would suck for that guy.

It would next year when 9" wide wheels become a factory option (not to mention the possible release of a Mach 1 or Boss edition Mustang with more power that could possibly wind up being classed in F Stock too). But for this year, I think he'd be laughing too hard around the course on each run to know that it was sucking. :dunno (this board still needs more smilies)

Wow, that's a lot of drivers. Last season for my local chapter, I think the most drivers we had for an event was 72...

There's a chance that I may take a job in Danbury, CT next summer. Not quite your neck of the woods, though

Or two of them...depending on how you look at it. Of course, if Mr, SoloII///M wanted to buy my car... :D

Ahh IC... there's also CART that runs in Bristol, CT... http://www.cartct.com I go to one or two events at their bumpy lot a year. They run things a little differently.... but hey, whatever works for them.

You'd be closer to NNJ events than New England events... but if you want to try different events in the general area... come on up to Devens in Ayer, MA for an event or two. Schedule isn't out yet... but we usually have a 2 event weekend once a year.

Once a year, a 1/2 dozen or so of us from NER head to an event in SNJ or NNJ.

That clyde guy wants too much for it.

Can you tell I'm anxious to get the season started?
