The seat will work provided you make or buy a bracket to attach the seat to the floor. http://www.wedgeengineering.net/ is one place to get the bracket. The OEM seat being power doesn't matter.

i looked on there website and i saw that they do supply one for the rx8, but is this all i would need? has anyone used this company before? also one last thing how do you guys that have race seats deal with the airbag light on all the time? is there a fix for that or will i just be stuck with it?

I have purchased brackets from them. If you call them and specify the type of seats you have the mounting holes on the bracket will match up to the ones on the seat. Then you just remove the four bolts holding the OEM seat in and mount the Recaro to the same OEM mounting locations. Since I only swap seats for track events I just live with the light. Other people use black tape.

Hmmm...I was thinking of getting these for my car, but I'm more drawn to the Pole Position. Thats when some place nearby told me the SPG was better then the pole position and that the pole position was for tiny people.. Anyone know the truth behind this? I went to their website and it looks to me like the pole position is wider then the SPG (they seemed to call it profi on their site).

Also, is there really no way at all to get rid of the airbag light and seatbelt light? (getting a harness too)

(BTW sorry to hijack but like you said.. no one talks about this seat at all so might as well talk about it here)

^No PP is a lot wider, SPG is smaller.

You know from experience or just saying bro? Just want to make sure is all. I really don't want to drop $1200 on two seats that wont fit anything except like...my cat or something. lol. The SPG felt good, but like I said, they were all like " ZOMG Pole Position is made for midgets with no ***~!!11!1" Soo..Yeah. :x

lol because some track regulations require a fixed back seat to compete? It's a racing seat..Not nessicarily for bling, but it looks good enough it is bling.
