A couple autocross pics from yesterday

Sweet pics. Are those the A3S04s? How do you like them?
I'm looking to get some rims and tires for autox/track days since my street tires are taking a beating. That and I can't seem to keep up with the guys on race rubber.

Nice pic other than the fact I've had to report you to the Agency for Unethical Treatment of Cones.
OK... any mods? Your front wheel in the 2nd pic under load in that turn look flat. What's your alignment? (I get mine Wed night.... already priced out FSB & endlinks, exhaust, filter.... and only 2 more events to go)

read my lips, FSB.
This was the first event that I placed higher than Clyde. The course this week was massively fast. In my last run, I hit the rev limiter once and heard the shift now beep in second gear at three different locations. I could have held it wide open a few more places than I did, but the pucker factor caused me to lift.
Oh well, too bad that was the last event of the season. I'm already looking forward to next year.

Alignment:
Front Camber: -1.4 (most we could get)
Caster: 6.7
Front Toe: 0.0
Rear Camber: -1.5
Rear Toe In: 0.04
After burning my wrist making a rear compression adjustment yesterday, I'm wishing that a straight pipe side exhaust was a viable option.
mp5, Hoosier A3S04 245/35-18s. After 10 heat cycles and nearly 70 runs, they're well past their prime. First set of tires for next season are going to be 275s. Haven't decided on Kumhos or Hoosiers again for that first set, though (assuming the V710 is available when we have to buy).
Brian, we're going to test with the front bar in the not too distant future. I'm just afraid that with the bar, the car is going to act like JohnV's M3. Then again, he's going to codrive with me next year, so...who knows? Good job yesterday with the .040 edge. :p It's going to be fun locally next year with perhaps 7 RX-8s
ZoomZoomH, yup, FedEx.
