If I want to start drifting my RX-8 in events, but only in like weekend things nothing hardcore, what are some good suspension mods to facilitate this sport? I don't wantr anything to hardcore, I don't want to mess up the everyday drive ability, but I want to be able to do small competition.

and for the look of your ride, small competition is not a good target, i think you should focus on powering it up ! good luck ! Drifting is fun, but you'll have to be really careful cuz if you drift with your stock suspension, i'm pretty sure the bottom of your nice front end will get damage. i think some stiff suspension will help

 

A reverse staggered setup would help promote additional oversteer and make it easier to control.

(aka wider front wheels/tires then rear).

 

I know JIC has the 13B-RE powered RX-8, do they use the same products they sell on their drift RX-8 becuase I guess they would be drift proven products.

 

Adjustable shocks and interchangable springs.
