Engine overheating?

Engine overheating?
Has anyone that's spent a lot of time on the track with the RX8 had any problems with the engine overheating? At the Mazdamotorsports site (they're talking about the RX7 rotary), but they recommend a larger radiator, underpulleys (to avoid cavitation), and messing with the thermostat for heavy track use. I'm wondering if these problems have been resolved? I noticed that Mazdaspeed does already have a larger radiator available for the RX8, so maybe not...
Thanks.
Thanks.

The 8 is designed primarily as a road car.
Look at F1 cars, cant keep themselves cool unless there doing 100mph..
I personaly havnt had a problem with cooling on a track day with my 8, even on relativly hot days. But track = more high rpm work = more heat.

I've never had a problem with the car over heating durring heavy use. The usually temp gauge shows the increase in heat but nothing really crazy. I did replace my stock unit with a PWR racing radiator because the dessert summers get to 115-120 and I figure better safe than sorry. So far the rad fits and funtions perfectly with a noticable diff in temps on those super hot days. I wish some one made a bigger/better AC condensor as I could benifit from that as well. As we all know rotaries produce alot of heat and any time you ad FI into the picture the temps go up. So with that said it would also be a wise mod for someone looking for the serious H/P or lots of racing/ driving in searing heat.
