Ennis 1/4 time

alright so a while back i posted up my time slip when i used to run 14.1 at the 1/4 track in ennis texas and the last 3 times i've gone back since then the best i've been able to run is a 15.3!!!!!!nothing has changed in the car what so ever but no matter what i try i just can't seem to run a faster time. reaction time is .180 so i know its not that. I'm thinking maby its my spark plugs or coils since i've never replaced them and i'm at 28K already. Ether that or my motor is losing compression. Cause i also raced with my other friends rx8 that only has a mid pipe and i ran a 15.08-15.12 anyone has any suggestions on what it could be?

Reaction time has mothing to do with 1/4 mi tme. The clock does not start untill you move. You would think some one who has been to the track three times would know this.
As far as your loss of power goes it could be your coils. My coils are missfiring and I only have 20k. Also my plugs were crap after the dealer flodded it.

What are your trap speeds at the end of the quarter? Trap speed tells you much more information about the power you're making.

If your current trap speeds are the same as what you were running previously (97.86 mph) but your ET is worse, then you know car is fine, but you're driving it bad. I know my car is fine if I trap 107 mph NA and 115 mph on the spray. That's all I care about anyways.

I know you said you were spraying it when you ran 14.256 seconds. Are you troubleshooting the basics with nitrous kit? Bottle pressure high enough? Correct AFR's? Using the right pills? Are you sure it's spraying?

like 89.60 and best one was like 91.35. but yeah it was the spark plugs, i took them out and omg they were in bad shape. i went and got some new ones and you can tell a difference even at idleing.

There's something majorly wrong if you're only trapping 88-91 mph on spray. A healthy stock RX-8 can trap 94 mph, on a 55 shot it should be close to or over 100 mph.
