Front alignment bolts seized?

I took my daily driver in for its annual autox alignment last week and the front alignment bolts appeared to have seized or stuck. We lubed it up, I drove it around for the past week and tried again the other day. Still no luck. Any suggestions?

I'm worried that we're gonna break the bolts and what not and I'll have a car that's out of commission waiting for parts from Mazda.

buy the parts in advance so there is no downtime?

you're autoXing which means your part of mazda comp. right? shouldn't be that expensive to get the bolt, drill out the old one and replace.

What parts had to be replaced? Would like to have the parts in advance so my daily driver is not out of commision for very long.

Why not just get a drill bit and drill out the bolt so you only have to replace that?

You will have a difficult time getting a drill in there.....but if you have a 90 degree adapter for an air drill it might fit. Then you only have to replace the bolt ( about $12) Otherwise you have to cut off the control arm...and replace that and the bolt.....( a lot more expensive)

Did you try an impact gun and a lot of penetrating oil.....you might get it loose that way if you are patient.

just get a HD breaker bar (3/4" or larger with a 1/2" adaptor) and a long pipe for extra leverage, if the bolt breaks you're home free otherwise it will come loose
