My car's weight on HPT's scales was almost exactly what it weighed at the DC ProSolo and the Toledo ProSolo. Couple pound variance with the same amount of gas.

Their camber measurement was right on as well.

Very cool.
Speedway bars?
Is there going to be a rate available that will be softer than stock for experimentation purposes?

its all part of the market that we are attacking, it is going to be a resonably priced bar kit and we will work from there with the R&D....

I have his bar for my Rx7 and its quality / function are stunning.

At a fee of $700+ (including everything you see) it will only charm people who are sober about autox / track days etc...I'm sure he's getting ample requests from RX8 owners to even consider a prototype lump.

That's the Speedway bar, which I take to be different than adjustable blade bar being discussed.

Regardless my own experience is that very few people here are willing to pay even $400 for a swaybar, let alone $700 ...

No, a blade is a twist style.

As you can see, they aren't cheap. Will be interested to see what TP has to offer for a reasonable price.

They can also break. Tom Berry would use 2-3 per year on his BSP Corvette.

I just don't see how the TP bar makes sense for BS autocross, but can definitely see the application in other venues...like, the ones where you'll be spending cubic dollars on set up, anyhow, and have enough latitude in other hard parts to take advantage of the adjustment range of the front bar.

both the bar and the arms come in different thicknesses. If you use a too thin arm with a too thick bar the arm will break

a single blade arm has been available for the RX-8 in Japan for quite a while:

Not bad...

but is there any reason the blade type is better in terms of performance than the standard drilled hole adjustable ones?

Is there any reason to put a bigger bar on the RX-8?

And why would I want to change a thing on my car? Sure hope you find someone fast to drive your BS car, so you can try to sell your setup ideas again.

It was a genuine question, no need to be nasty, thought we had gotten past that now fwiw, Carter pretty much has my exact setup + 285 tires

If not, you have no way to verify whether you'd be faster. Most of your wins result from consistency, not having the fastest times. Whether it's the car, the driver, or both is anyone's guess.
