anyone else feel the stock LSD is a bit inconsistent? kinda hard to explain what im feeling when i push the car hard. its almost like the inside wheel is spinning more tehn it should. other times it vibrates a lot and sometimes even jerks the car.

zero LSD issues here, the only time I've experienced inside wheelspin was when a front swaybar malfunctioned and testing alignment settings, improper alignment might be to blame; too much rear camber can cause contact patch issues, and of course I'm assuming the traction control is turned off
and of course it is a Torsen; lifting the inside rear wheel will cause it to act like an open diff, so too much rear shock rebound or front roll pitch can create the situation as well, but unless you have serious power mods there's likely nothing wrong with the LSD itself, Speedsource uses the OE factory LSD on their GrandAm cars without issue

traction control is always off.
im replacing the fluids today. not too sure that it will make a diference though. it feels like there is a mechanical error causing it to lurch side to side when making hard rights.

ghost i have had the same thing but only in a sweeping right turn under hard accleration (if there is such a thing ---JK). None in sharp turns, none in left hander's .I have felt that in some other cars also. It is almost like a "wind up and release" sensation. Causes the rear end to lurch around some. Funny thing is, mine went away after I put my koni's and tein h's on. I have the rb's also. That doesnt make sense to me but it did. And I am running royal purple in the diff

because the "lurching " around was a sensation from the diff. sort of like when you drive a fixed axle car on the pavement and try to take a sharp curve. like the diff wasnt letting go. I wouldnt think the stiffer suspension would have anything to do with that. But the fact is --it doesnt do that anymore.

I think I know the sensation you mean, and I think it's actually shunt because we have road-tuned suspension. The diff seems tighter than the rest of the rear of the car, if you know what I mean - bet it would all go away with a brace and some poly bushes.
Particularly noticeable when you play with the throttle with some lock on...
