This never seems to happen when somebody posts: "hey, first time at the track and I could only pull low 15's". Nobody jumps on those guys yelling:"BS! Post your time slip dang it or shut up!"
Why must we be so flame happy when it's the other way around? Give 'em a chance before flaming away.

I think because he is so cocky in the way he posts. "I am the king!" Also, from his other thread, he clearly states "I don't CARE if you believe me or not. Period." If he doesnt care, then he shouldn't mind people doubting his claims until he provides something concrete.
Every other car forum on this planet has people posting timeslips with their claims. After you do your run, you drive by and pick up your slip...not a hard chore by any means. And scanning or taking a digital photo takes 2 seconds nowadays.
So please don't paint this like the thread starter is innocent. If I had accomplshed what he had claimed, you be DAMN sure I'd have the proof to back it up. That way people could respect my words rather than flame them.

If I pulled time like the thread starter said he did I'd be making sure I laminated that time slip so any chance of it getting ruined would be ruled out.
Then I'd need to frame it and hang it on a chain from my neck to my nutz for everyone to see because it would be so damn unbelievable!

Then you have to measure this car up against the average RX8 which traps between 92-96 mph. The only way you're going to bump your trap speed 8-12 mph is with a big bump in horsepower. NO factory freak will have a bump that big. The only way you could bump trap speed by 8-12 mph is NOS, forced induction, or serious weight loss (no back seat, no passenger seat, no door trim, no sound deadening...etc).

I wonder if anyone noticed that the thread starter has not shown up AT ALL after his original posts. And this is after he said he doesn't care if we believe him or not.
So let's all agree that we DON"T believe him, and let this thread die, since there is absolutely nothing beneficial coming out of this.
