Kumho v710s and OEM rims not beading?
Has anyone had trouble getting their 245 width Kumhos mounted on OEM rims. My wheels and tires have been to three different shops here in St. Louis without any luck. They say they're just not holding air. This is the first time I've had a set of R compounds on this car, but I've never had any trouble in the past. Is this normal? Any suggestions I can give the next shop? I have an alignment scheduled for tomorrow, but if the tires aren't on the car it'll pretty much make the alignment useless. HELP!

Alignment is independent of the wheel/tire, as long as we are talking about BS, with wheel offset restriction. See https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-racing-25/v710s-285-versus-245-a-110765/ for tips/suggestions on how to mount 245 V710.

I ran STU last year and had a completely different wheel/tire setup and the car is now aligned for a shorter, narrower all-season tire. I'd just like to have everything as it's going to be for our test n' tune on Sunday.
Thanks for the link. I'm going to pass that info on to the next lucky installer. Maybe 4th time's a charm.
edit: I'm running BS this year.
