Anyone know what happened tp the new LM2 Mazda that was supposed to race the 24 hours. can't find anything about it.

 

honestly i've never heard of it until i saw your post..where did you originaly hear about it..and what's it got under it's bonnet :D

It was never scheduled to race in this year's event.

 

I was out there for the pre-qual a few weeks back.

Didn't see any Mazdas.

I really thought Pescarolo would have it. The Judds look like a winner, but I guess you just can't count out the Audi's. The R8's were also impressive in that they are very quiet and composed compared to the scream of the ferrarris et al, they just go about their business of winning like it's no sweat at all.

The C6r is a truely awsome car to watch and hear, incredible growling exaust note (funny to fly all the way to France to be impressed by a chevy however)

oh i've seen that car someone on here posted a few video clips of it at leguna seca, i think it was. sounded awsome. D

 

I believe that car only currently races in ALMS (American Le Mans Series), not the real 24 hours of Le Mans. Mazda seems to be taking baby steps before racing in the big leagues again.
