Need Guidance
#26
that's because you were driving point to point acting on memory and not looking ahead, the reason to know the course is to look ahead and remember where you want to position yourself for what's coming up, you only need to remember those critical points rather than every minor detail, it will all flow together once you begin doing this

Due to my mediocre talent, I need to at least memorize my visual cues on course-the cones I'll be looking at when I'm looking ahead. Memorizing that gives me a comfort level when I'm at the start line-otherwise I'm just too nervous.
However, like I said, I'm not the 3x champ

I STRONGLY disagree. If you are starting out, getting excellent advice is well worth the investment. Just getting "seattime" without proper guidance leaves you HOPING you get it right.
If someone was just starting to golf, I'd advise they take lessons first. This is not different. And the advice of well-intentioned people at a local event is wrong too many times.
Evolution has exercises to teach you what it means to do the things right. Not just tell you to do them.
Is that good for most street tires?
