My P1's just came in. They registered 19.02 lbs on my postal scale. I was pleasantly surprised. This is a bronze P1 bored to 67.1mm and no center cap.

I've got Jimmy at Fuji-racing.com working on pricing for B-stock legal Rota P1s (hoping to come in under Suby Dude's pricing). I think Jimmy is also planning on offering some type of contingency for Rotas bought through him for tours and Nationals. I should have my set by next weekend.

Wow! That's great to hear that Kenneth's P1s came in at 19.02 lbs.

If he can beat the Subydude pricing and get a set in flat black or gun metal then I will commit.

BTW - Machiii.net sells P1's for $175 in 18x8 but that does not include shipping or drilling.

Just saw someone local in the S2000 forum post these up as well. Might be an option, no idea on weight though.

Here's the contingency program that Jimmy at Fuji-Racing is doing for STS2 cars with Rotas purchased through him:

Now for the ST Class I will be offering 15 x 7.5 ROTA SLIPSTREAMS for contingency. The wheels have to have been purchased from FujiRacing.

This will be good for the Natl. tour events:

$50.00 for first place in Solo 2 Tour events.

$500.00 National Championship 1st place

$250.00 2nd place in the Final.

$100.00 3rd place.

Can't say that's what he's going to offer the B-stock guys, but it will probably be similar.

He's finalizing pricing right now for the P1 and I'll let you know as soon as I hear from him.

Ok, the pricing for the P1s through Fuji Racing is set at $760 plus shipping. Call Jimmy for shipping and availability!

Wow....... I just ordered a set of these wheels......What a great company to deal with as an autocrosser. These wheels are flat black and factory bored to 73MM so they have not been machined out. Also, he's offering a very nice contigency program for SCCA events.....Basically he's one of us, very enthusiastic about the sport and doing what he can to make it more afforable.

The +48 which I would guess is slightly lighter. I'm sure the +48 just has a skinnier hub than the +45.

Good question....I'll call and ask. 45MM would be ideal......

BTW - If you win BS Nationals on P1's he'll give you $800....He's giving $50 for tours and pros. Pretty cool since it sounds like he's doing it on his own.

and the hub is the smallest radius which means the least amount of inertia impact

you're not R.J.Oppenheimer so stop splitting atoms

...and 6mm of track is going to make my car handle that much better???

I don't think it really matters either way.
