When Union76 had their headquarters here in Schaumburg, IL (NE corner of Golf Rd & Meachum Rd), There was a road course track built around the perimeter of the building. It connected various employee parking lots and you would never know it existed. I actually drove on it once before I knew its intended purpose. I don't recall any events being held there.
It no longer exists. The site is now a strip mall.

haha....I got something similar...here's a pic from a spot a bout a mile away from my house. an unfinished 'hood with fresh asphalt. it's my own private AutoX Test'n'Tune track!! complete with tight skidpad (look @ upper end).

the only thing there's those two commercial-zoned buildings on the right...they're still only half-occupied and completely empty after 5PM and on the weekends. sometimes when I show up there's people racing their R/C cars or planes though :-}
