WOW... The RX-8 guys are taking this news a lot better than the Z drivers.

+1 I saw the thread over on My350Z.com

I guess the main concerns stem from the 'feeling' that former Z models are now obsoleted in BS.

Exactly! And trust me, I will welcome that with open arms. My RX-8 is great as a daily driver, but I would love another 40-50hp and some more torque.

If they put the 16X in a light-weight 2 seater (next gen RX-7), then I may go that route next and give SS a try.
