I don't know about "meh"...not only will the grunt off turns be better, which isn't too bad with the 295, the shorter sidewall will address the one thing that I didn't like with the big tire: turn in and steering feel. All with more section width than the 245. I think it could be a "good thing" for the '8 and Solsti.

But, I agree, no reason to change on your car, it is really set up nicely, as it stands.

This is off-focus, but the size the world is really missing is a 275/35-17.
