GREAT Runs to Jeff and Eric! You guys are on fire this weekend!
Eric, I think if you drove my car you'd keep it and make it for SP.
My co-driver got down to a '62.8 which would've had the class by 6 tenths!
I got down to a '63.5 but coned that away, so I'm standing in second right now with a '64.
Good times either way everyone! Was great meeting you all. Can't wait for tomorrow's course!

Good job to Jeff and Eric today. Looks like its going to be a close battle today.
And Marc, go out there tomorrow and drive it to win. You never know what can happen. Looks like the time is there for the car, just go out and drive it!
Good luck to all tomorrow.

Isn't it technically down to DSP standards?
And after watching the videos today, for sure. John and I both left time on the table in different spots. Either way, I need to stop dinking around and drive. If my co-driver can break '62, so can't I!

Definitely congrats to Jeff for putting on some crazy times. Congrats to Eric Simmons and Jeff H for being damn fast too, you guys were great out there! It was a pleasure meeting you all too.
Chris, always a pleasure to see you again my friend!
As for John and I, I'm impressed with the times we put down... Given the fact that the R compounds are completely done. As in, yesterday and today, the tires were rocks and not even slightly soft after running. But hey, excuses aside, I gave it my all, and my co-driver did great as well, so that's all I'm really happy with.

Thanks to BRODA racing for letting me drive with him and helping setup the car this year. It was good both days, but I couldn't find the course on Saturday. Dave is a great co-driver and stay patient with me even though I keep breaking things on his car. Sorry about the door card I destroyed with my knee cap Dave
Jeff and Eric it was fun getting another crack at you guys following the smack down in DC. Hopefully I'll see you out on the neutral grounds of Lincoln in a few months. My first instructor from the early days of Autox down in Florida, Neal Tovsen, is running a BMW in STX. It would be fun to see him again.
Congrats to Zelse and John for a strong showing as well. RX8's were representing all over the place, as were Mazda's in general.

Smack down... beat down.. @sskicking or all of the above. Glad Jeff held the torch high for STX and put the times down he did. I never would've thought a course that looked so simple could be such a challenge to drive fast. Think I had most of it figured out by the 3rd run but just didn't execute. I could see Jeff tearing down the runway and knew he was driving at another level. Also, props to Nate for the course design.

Eric, thanks for posting video. I will try and overlay our fast runs and compare. You had better lines then me through the offsets and a few other places. According to the data BRODA was faster than me down the back runway.
Thx again for the competition guys. I'm am now officially in love with how RX8's handle. There is a buyer for the WRX Eric, we will see what happens

I wil have to post mine up with the MPH. I had more speed in some spots, and you had more in other spots. The car looked very planted, I should have made a change to tighten mine up it was too loose on exit.
Did you see Toledo opened up the wait list?

Will do Eric. I haven't even looked at Saturday yet!
I've given up on Toledo, need to save pennies for the trip further west! If we can go I'll keep my fingers crossed for a spot at the finale with only one event, even though I know its next to impossible.
