As I understand it (no results up yet), Carter is killing BS with Andy Hohl and Chris Hammond behind him, then Buckwheat, then Clyde and Mark.

GO FASTER! :D

Clyde is our HERO!!
Long story short - Friday afternoon found Mark and I without a car to drive. Clyde offered his. Weekend salvaged, with big smiles after the very first run.

(Clyde, I assume you posted from home, glad to know you're safe & sound. I owe you cone cleaning duty , on top of everything else....)

Is she on two wheels, or is that my imagination? How did DKNV do?

Clyde is obviously the man for doing what he did. That is the true sign of a sportsman.

Yep, two wheels

DKNV ended up 6th in the Ladies 1 class. The potential do much better was there, but we have to work on getting her to be a bit more aggressive behind the wheel It was pretty much the usual Pro Solo *****-to-the-walls full court press kind of course. Every maneuver had to be seriously attacked, in and out.

Clyde's RX-8 is working very well I have no excuse for not running winning times

EDIT: LOL, just noticed there is a scoring error on one of my fastest runs for Sunday that I didn't catch. The left side run times are reversed. I ran the 33.218 clean on my first left side run on Sunday morning with a second run time of 33.299 with the two cones; so approx. 0.08 faster total time than being shown. It doesn't change the results any though.

We saw the same thing happen to DKNV in Atwater and several people mentioned it at Mineral Wells too. Pro Solo participants should check their posted result times carefully, the TS system is just plain

I swear I was .095 back from Aaron on the results I saw yesterday, posted times show me at .067

I wish I had done a bit better on the right side!

Some photos up at http://sccaforums.com/photos/christoc/category1056.aspx

I even got to rallycross a bit! http://sccaforums.com/photos/christo...ure195994.aspx

Nice comeback on Sun Morning for TeamRX8. I'm not sure how much one could focus on Sat after towing XXmiles to IN only to have the car break in practice starts.

A true sportsman offer indeed to help out not only one but 2 competitors in need of a ride by Clyde

FWIW: Carter was way Hot right out of the box. Obviously clear by his 2nd Place overall challenge drive...He is one combatant that people have forgotten about. Look back at all the ProSolo victories in his ol' MR2. Pretty good mix with the Hammond and Hohl Z playing very hard as well.

I just did what I thought was the right thing to do given the circumstances. Plus, I think I learned a lot...and didn't get shortchanged by hot tires Saturday afternoon like someone else.

Clyde, what up with the yellow nose? Smack one too many cones with the original? Looks kinda cool though...

Over the winter, someone offered a yellow bumper for free to anyone that would pick it up from his garage. The two main advantages are not worrying about rock chips to the front bumper and not feeling compelled to clean cone marks any more. From here on out, they will be character marks. :D

The lower lip on my gray bumper has also taken a pretty good beating over the past two seasons. My plan was put the damaged one on the yellow bumper and take the good one off to put on the gray bumper. As it turned out, though, the one on the gray bumper was a little too far gone. The tabs where the screws go through are all broken or missing and I wouldn't have been able to secure the undertray. So, I bought a new lip to put on the gray bumper for when I eventually sell the car.

I don't know if it looks "kinda cool" but it does seem to be a conversation piece.

LOL, I only shortchanged myself by totally going for it after hitting a cone, bad mistake on my part to abuse the tires unnecessarily during the hot afternoon
