TRG taking 1st and 2nd. It'll be tough to pass them. Maybe they'll pull a Pontiac and take each other out? =)

The #30 should be right up there with the #70 and 69 by morning tomorrow with good pit strategy and a little bit of luck.

thanks for the pictures. Living 40 minutes away I have a tradition of going up saturday morning walking around pits for a while watching a couple hours then going home to watch the speed coverage.

It seems to me those rotarys really sound good this year especially the speedsource cars. Are they rev'ing higher than years past? Walking along the fence whenever they went buy I was wishing I had earplugs because the ear was feeling like it was being tickled. Probably not good for the ear but it was pretty damned impressive too.

I 'm beginning to feel like we're pretty smart , us RX-8 owners.

And BTW , should we all be using syntec now :-)

I believe ALL the RX8's in the race are running 20b engines this year.
Some were last year, but not all.

The SpeedSource RX-8 used a 3 rotor 20B last season as well.

Like miater asked, anyone know what the 20B's are revving to? 9K, 10K, higher???

< 1 3/4 hours left and #70 SpeedSource looks good. Holding a 5 lap lead, should be able to settle in and bring it on home.
