My first Track Day Vip at Jarama Circuit (Madrid - Spain). More than 70 laps to an old GP circuit... I only broke the brake rotors... A very hard day, many accidents...

My first drifting practice ever this year...

My visit to Nürburgring Circuit this year (Nürburg - Germany). Incredible circuit. Now that I have run in this circuit the rests of the circuits seems to me like if they are for children and this is a problem because Nürburgring is very far... Photos by http://www.frozenspeed.com/

Monday - Rain, slow and following my friend. In some areas there was a lot of water and the Advan A048 were a bit slippery...

Tuesday - Sun, fast, the A048 are great!!!

This weekend at NASA GL Event @ Mid-Ohio. HPDE 1. Magnets failed and blue painters doesn't show ell enough so yellow duct tape FTW!

Wet track for 3 of the 7 sessions (8th didn't start until 7:30 PM Sunday). Long weekend with races & HPDE sessions but a great time even w/rain.

A little autocross. I hadn't autocrossed in two years but had to come out of "retirement" because the trophies were beer glasses.

Some great photography and great looking RX-8s in here. Good stuff. Here's a picture I took of Phil (of DPE fame) in his old RX-8. He's not in race trim, but he's chasing (and caught) a 944 that was in race trim.

Here's me being chased by famous NHRA drag racer Eddie Hill in his Ariel Atom.

Better picture of Eddie Hill, who by the way was super-cool in the drivers meeting, and hounded me around the track in several sessions. Was pretty cool to see a famous drag racer following me around Hallett. Granted, he was just playing with me out there while he learned the track I think, and when he did decide to open up the taps he was gone, but it was fun nonetheless.

It's street legal, and they do sell it in the US.

Noticed that too. I'd be taking mine along that's for sure. Especially at the ring.

That picture was taken of him off track between sessions. I think only Clarkson is crazy enough to drive an Atom around a track without a helmet.

And, as others have said, you can buy an Atom in the US.

Last two or three times I've been to Hallett, there have been Atoms down there. That's the only place I've seen them so far. There was an international Atom-fest down there last October, even.

I'd just like to say - my autocross magnets are handmade... $10 and about 2 hours of work.

At the starting line

On the course

I think Jay Leno drove his Atom without a helmet in his review.
